| Mr. Bricelj has over nine years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, and restructuring transactions across a range of industries including pharmaceuticals, oil and gas and telecommunications.
For the last four years, Mr Bricelj has focused exclusively on pharmaceuticals. From 2003 to 2006, he was Head of Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions at Pliva d.d., a $2.5 billion global pharmaceutical company. In this role, Mr. Bricelj was responsible for the initiation and execution of a number of M&A and restructuring transactions in the US and Europe and served as an advisor to Pliva’s Management Board on corporate finance and strategic matters. While at Pliva, some of Mr. Bricelj’s more significant transactions included the spin-off and sale of Pliva’s US brand business and sale of Pliva’s proprietary R&D arm to GSK.
Prior to working at Pliva, Mr. Bricelj was part of Lazard’s global M&A team based in London where he advised clients including Royal Dutch Shell, ENI, British Petroleum, and Interbrew on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance assignments. Prior to joining Lazard in 2000, Mr. Bricelj worked at CA-IB, a Central and Eastern Europe focused investment bank. |
